We just started a development partnership with PLIVA, the biggest croatian pharmaceuticals company. We're working with them on their business specific web applications. The technologies used include PHP and PostgreSQL.

New year - new project :-) We just started a new project with Energy Institute "Hrvoje Pozar", a research institute from Zagreb. We are working with their department of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. The software we're developing is a Java EE application for processing, analyzing and displaying of various measurement data. Technologies used for the project include GWT, the Spring Framework and MySQL.

Calyx just started a software development partnership with the Croatian branch of Bull, working on various Java EE applications.

Calyx started a joint-venture project building a community for yacht skippers and charters in Croatia. The service is aimed at enabling charters to easily find suitable skippers for their yachts. More details at yachtmaster.hr.

We joined the software development team at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, working on the Joint Information System for Land Registry and Cadastre - currently one of the biggest software development efforts in Croatia. The technologies used include Spring Framework, Google Web Toolkit, BEA application server and Oracle database.

Our expert just started working with our partner company tisco on consulting Orange Austria in the field of provisioning on the Comptel platform. The contract is expected to last until the end of the year.

We started collaboration with our new partners Infotehna d.o.o. on enhancing their enterprise document management solutions built on Sharepoint and Java EE technologies.

In collaboration with our partner tisco, we successfully implemented a real-time ad-insertion system. The purpose of this system is dynamic insertion of advertisements into existing audio streams. The system is developed for the Vienna-based company Lackner Mediasystems.

Calyx started working on the project of introducing electronic registration plates for the police coast guard patrol boats. We're working as subcontractors for the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing and the company Fornax. The part of the system we're working on consists of a server which resides in the demilitarized zone and serves as the main interconnection point of all the system's components.
